Danica's Tidbits

Last night, we were watching one of the "Love Comes Softly" movies. The girl in the movie wanted to become a doctor. The name, Elizabeth Blackwell, was mentioned. Danica immediately said, "She was the first woman doctor!" I asked how she knew that, and she said she read about her in a Judy Moody book.

Earlier in the week, while watching an "American Girl" movie, the topic of the 'tea tax' came up. Danica already knew it was called the Boston Tea Party. She had watched a video about it on "Always Ice Cream."
